A few of these prototypes have been running around with manufacturer plates. Pics have been posted on Allpar and other sites for a while now.

Aaaaand that’s why people ignore these Nurburgring numbers now.

Right, I should have been more clear. People use the unemployment rate as a blanket indicator. The “skew” I referred to was more that people forget that being underemployed or temp/seasonal employed are legit factors that aren’t necessarily reflected in that number.

Thanks for the data. I meant “skewed” because people tend to forget under employment is even a thing.

It’s easier than ever to buy a sports car. TONS of incentives. Interest rates for as low as 0.0% for 72 months. Maintenance costs are as low as they’ve ever been. Warranties are GIGANTIC compared to what they used to be.

A) That was the number from the article.

All of these things had no impact until the last 6-9 months? Please.

If muscle cars sales had been declining year over year for the last 15+ years (since millenials began graduating from HS and college), I’d understand. But they haven’t been. Muscle cars had sold amazingly well, up until the last 2 quarters where they fell off a cliff.

That’s what I said, dude.

Hey, I think Fantasy Football fatigue (FFF Theory) is one reason why NFL viewership is down. People are tired of RB by committee and the constant onslaught of injuries to major players (concussion protocol has added to this), and aren’t playing as often.

So I say again, people 19-35 (35! Out of college for a decade!) can’t afford $25K cars yet? HA!

Yes. That’s why muscle cars sales have been fantastic for the last several years. Millennials didn’t suddenly agree this year, after buying cars for over a decade, decide the maintenance was too high.

Muscle cars sales have been great for years. This year they take a nose dive. I hardly see how that can be attributed to millennials (who have been buying cars for over a decade) suddenly don’t earn enough money to buy them.

Agree to disagree. I think we’ll look back on 2016 in the next 9-12 months and see the economy had basically ground to a halt.

“the millennial generation — aren’t yet earning enough money to buy Mustangs, which start at $24,915"

5yr/60K warranty transfers. Which is still better than some manufacturer’s new warranties.

I drove a 2013 R-Spec and it was an absolute dog. The steering was numb, body roll everywhere, anemic torque.

I can’t watch the video, so maybe this is answered (or it has been in the past, and I’m ig’nernt), but how does Autopilot know where you’re wanting to go? I was under the impression that their autonomous system didn’t ever talk to the nav/GPS.
