He should have said “driveshaft”. That’s the component that breaks when traction is added. Not the ZF 8speed.

Drive shaft.

Neither. He’s wrong.

He’s confusing drive shafts snapping with transmission failure.

A violent enough snap could cause damage to anything.

I’m puzzled because the drive shaft is the weak point. The first aftermarket part made for the hellcat was an upgraded drive shaft.

I’ve seen them eat drive shafts. Haven’t heard about grenading transmissions.

You think the TRANSMISSION (which is fantastic) is the reason they can’t put 707hp to the ground in a RWD car running street tires?

Exterior was much better. Especially the Trans AMs. The interiors were an embarrassment, for sure.

Ugh. Those cars were god awful. HORRID interior. Boring exterior. And that modular 4.6 was a piece of junk. Sounded amazing, but so incredibly slow.

Looks like the 2015 Sonata to me. Unless the Sonata was copied. The Elantra is definitely just following the new design language they set with the Sonata’s refresh in ‘15.

10/100 powertrain, 5/60 bumper to bumper. Still the same.

It’s NOT a step back. The 2017 (especially at this trim level) is a much better car. The 2.0 is a far superior engine to the 1.8, plus it’s dead silent inside, in addition to all of the tech offered.....and I think they’re even a little cheaper than their 2016's equivalent.

I just got this exact same car (in the electric blue, not sure the official name) for my mother. Thoughts:

Netw3rk. I heard he never found a job anywhere....

Siloam Springs on the OK/AK boarder.

How about this: I took a plane. Meaning I passed through airport security with a 1 way ticket and $22,000 in a backpack and DIDN’T get questioned by the TSA.

I bought a car on craigslist. The story includes taking out a personal loan and carrying a backpack full of $22,000 to rural Arkansas.

Tough 2nd half of the season so far, but Go Astros. I still believe we have a great future. #SeniorWeek.

Welllll, a LOT of that is very true.
