The freeways are only crowded during rush hour. It’s not like LA that are perpetually in gridlock.

Yeah, the streets of NYC are totally empty of cars. And the subways run on candy and rainbows.

It’s becoming less and less “physically hideous”. Love the work they’ve done returning the bayous to their natural form. Plus, any industrious city that has the GDP of several small countries is going to have some rough spots.
