15 minutes isn’t enough to tell if it’s aligned properly; it’s barely long enough to see that the wheels have all the lug nuts. The alignment equipment is what’s supposed to tell if it is aligned. There was no reason to drive that car at all.

I can agree on the clutch job and maybe tires but 4 new tires seems a bit much, the dealers view that he punished the wrongdooers sort of ignores the fact that the dealership is liable for their actions. I think the dealership should cut their losses fix the guys car and call it a night

No, this is bull and it shouldn’t count as a speed record. Air resistance is a core component of speed records. Removing the primary obstacle to the record makes the record worthless.
