It's a good question, and even subjectively (i.e. as one person, not a collective audience) I am pulling for this show to work and can't exactly say why. I really enjoyed how his "prosthetic" arm is six inches longer than his regular one and the director not only made zero effort to hide it, but seemed to shoot him in a way that made it impossible not to notice.

The journalism in this show is every bit as accurate and richly detailed as the courtroom stuff.
