As someone who grew up in Ohio, moved to South Florida for 4 years, and then moved back to Ohio, I can tell you this: LeBron is living a better version of my life. And if his pattern of following in my footsteps continues, he’s heading to LA.
Bill Simmons keeps on talking about how LeBron was looking to enroll his kid in the same school Simmons’s kid goes to. I have to feel like that alone is giving LeBron doubts about going to L.A. at all.
Do you think that being asked to leave a restaurant, or having your meal interrupted, or being called by the public…
Because it would be the most talented roster he was ever part of?
Does your employer engage in the political act of playing the anthem at the start of your workday? And did your employer allow itself to get bullied into its decision by a U.S. President with a stated interest in stoking outrage and division?
The below section from this SI article from back in September points to the federal statute that could be at play.
Those 1,800 children are not missing. Here is a link to a twitter thread. If you don’t want to read it, the gist of it is:
You’re argument is nonsensical. As the right will tell you, these kids are illegals and therefore have committed a crime by entering this country. The equivalent is that they’ve been put on parole. The government spends a lot of money keeping track of parolees and making their lives a living hell.
There are no good cops. The Culture doesn’t allow there to be. “Good cops” get fired or harassed and taken off the street and put behind desks. The “good cops” don’t speak up and against these other cops when this happens, instead they cover the body cams and make up stories to get their buddies off. None of this is…
It’s a couple centuries past time to end police patrols. No other emergency service operates this way and- surprise- no other emergency service goes around murdering and maiming people in daylit public places.

WEEK 2:
NFL: “Stand on field.”
Players: *stand on field, fists raised*
Morons: “THEY RAISE FIST BOOOOOO!”
WEEK 3

Players: *stand on field, hands down, heads…
The majority of people upset over the “disrespect” shown by not standing for the anthem also proudly fly the Confederate flag next to the Stars and Stripes.... So let’s grade their anger on the idiotic curve it deserves.
Lemme check my notes: so you have to stand for the anthem out of respect, but it’s cool to mock Vietnam vets for being POWs.
Holy shit that’s a disgusting thing to say. I had to re-read it to make sure I was understanding it correctly. To have the nerve to claim you need the support in anticipation of outrage over an unjustified use of force is ridiculous in itself, but to do so in church is appalling. No wonder evangelicals still support…
This is a very good comment. Thank you.
Golden State checked him just fine after his flurry in the opening minutes, generously accommodating the Rockets’ desire to match him up with Steph Curry
Apparently you don’t understand The Process. The best outcome is winning a championship. The second best outcome is finishing last and getting an excellent draft pick. If you do not achieve either one of those you have failed.
Nice try Dennis, but I think that the Sixers are already destined for greatness. First, start with a point guard who can’t shoot, and then add a center who can’t run. For robustness, add another point guard who can’t shoot behind the first point guard who can’t shoot, just in case the first point guard gets hurt. Fill…
