The United States is not a moral society and the United States is not a just society. Many of us are fine people, but that doesn’t make a society.

Whatever ideals this country may pretend to uphold, money is the most important thing by far, especially when measured against something as trivial as the autonomy of women or children. This is America, and God bless it.
