Clinton lost because she lost several States that Obama won handily. Maybe a bunch of bigots voted for Obama a couple of times and finally came to reveal their true selves this time around, or maybe somebody needed to do something to win their votes.

I agree with everything except the denial of the murder. A good Clinton apologist would blame Wikileaks and/or Putin for not digging up evidence that Trump has committed more murders than Hillary.

I agree with your premise about needing a positive message. Maybe they didn’t want to lie and thought that would give them some kind of moral high ground. The Democrats don’t give a shit about a brighter tomorrow for the middle of the country any more than the Republicans do. They forgot to pretend.

Most people I know would not be motivated by “vote for this candidate or you’re an idiot.” For some reason, a majority of those people think it’s a great way to motivate other people.

The DNC violated its charter. They cheated. Whether or not that cheating gave them a victory or just made victory more likely, they cheated. Most Democrats I know tend to appeal to people by calling them morons. Their party motto should be “Shut up; I know better.” I’ve asked a lot of them how that’s working out for them today. They still don’t get it. But at least they know better.
