i had a coupe of that gen with a 5speed, i loved that car! the coupe had those nsx-esque tail lights that spanned from one corner to the other with raised edges at the ends

i think how draining riding becomes is directly related to how long you have been riding... after that first saturday of the MSF course i was wiped, but now spending the whole day on the bike is no big deal

noooooo, i’m ALWAYS faster on my bike than i would be in a car... the dollar to performance ration on a bike is obscene, my bike can pull mclaren numbers for literally 1/20 of the price! but even if you were on a cruiser you’d still probably be the fastest thing on the road!

don’t think of it as counter-steering but more like push steering, you are pushing/leaning the bike over on it’s side to go in the direction you want to turn in... by “pushing” on that side of the handle bars, not by ‘turning’ them in the opposite direction

yup, i always try to think about what the stupidest possible thing every single person i see could possible do right now, and then i’m ready for when they actually do it... (and it’s sad to see how many times they do exactly what i think they would)

the last gen r3 is an amazing bike and can be had for next to nothing on the used market! it has a much more upright seating position than the ninja 300 and is a crazy fun bike!

after completing your MSF course you don’t know dick about operating a bike on the road!
