this is an bias error in perception, you are seeing a colletive decade of fusions on the road and years and years and years of focuses which makes them seem plentiful. if you narrow to just 2018 models you will notice there really aren’t that many of them out there...

the only german car i would own out of warranty is a porsche, they are the only ones i believe consistently made quality vehicles throughout the 80s, 90s, (ims bearings aside) and 00s.
