Honestly? Good. I understand it’s a classic, popular fighting game, but it’s time to freshen up that scene, and for every person there was that loved melee, there seemed to be just as many who were pissed and tired that a 15+ year old game kept getting the main stage attention at Evo instead of newer titles, and…

I’m very gay and this entire debacle was extremely inoffensive to me, with the “growing up” trophy name perhaps being the MOST inoffensive.

Of course, anyone can and should be offended by whatever they so choose.

I just - personally - wish we picked some of our battles better.

At some point, some company or celebrity is going to say, “I’m hearing you say you didn’t like that, but I’m not changing it, and I’m not changing my mind.
