Incomplete analysis assumes constant angle of attack, fails to consider documented pre-landing cape-flare.  Sharply increasing angle of attack (possible given properties of piezoelectric cape) immediately prior to landing causes sudden deceleration, preventing serious injury to The Bat Man.
