Now, now, let’s not get hasty. Wouldn’t want to look imprudent, you know.

I did my best to see if anyone had already said this, which is to say that I glanced at about half of the posts, so if this has been pointed out or mentioned elsewhere, just pretend that I’m an old, hard of hearing, senile man.
I got my polio vaccine (and a couple of boosters) at what amounted to what we call Kindergarten Roundup now. Very convenient. Still, I’m sure that there were those that fell through the cracks for whatever reason back then, too.
If you really think that this administration is about to divulge to the public all the bad things that the intelligence community does, I’ve got some ocean front property in South Dakota to sell to you.
Get busy makin’ plays, or get busy brickin’ treys.
Goddammit, now we’re both going to hell.
This is so true. They want prayer and scripture in public schools so very badly, but as soon as somebody wants to pray to Allah or read the Torah, it’s an attack on their culture.
American farmers are predominantly old white men. So, no.
Oh! Patriotic neck massagers! I like it.
The key to PEMDAS is to remember that division and multiplication are the same operation, as well as addition and subtraction. So, multiplication does not have precedence over division, and neither does addition over subtraction.
“We’re the ones who didn’t get Mr. Trump’s...line about fences and love...”
Anymore, it’s absurd to say it, but I will always fondly respond to these articles with “Who the hell is Britt McHenry?”
Wouldn’t the continuity would be the same under either the Bismarck or Universal, by your reckoning? I mean, sure, if that’s what it takes to get you on board.
The Bismarck system works in no small part because insurers are not allowed to make a profit. The healthcare systems are also usually very tightly regulated. In other words, the bottom line is shifted away from profits and towards the patient’s well-being. For what it’s worth, I’d be fine with this kind of system, as…
A capitalist- (or market-) based healthcare system will always prioritize the bottom line over patient health. There’s really no way around that. So long as hospitals, clinics, etc. have to answer to a small group of shareholders, the goal will always be to maximize revenue; patient well-being is just a side-effect.
Man, did I absolutely despise those “bad boy” Pistons. The only redeeming quality they had is that they honest about what they were doing.
“Could he make direct calls for violent action?”
True, but they don’t fill them out.
Here’s something I’ve been wondering lately: what keeps ol’ money bags from presenting tax returns with completely made up numbers? The guy clearly knows many, many, unscrupulous people - surely one of them is smart enough to produce a document that shows that dear larder is worth eleventy jabilion dollars - he was…
Wasn’t he also an assistant coach with them for a season or so?
