Oh my god, that’d be brilliant if they did all this just to get attention. Then they get “fan support” and release the new version, and we’re all excited because it’s a Sonic movie that “we” helped create! That would be some Machiavellian level stuff right there.

Matt Leone’s excellent oral history of Final Fantasy VII has been turned into a book by Read Only Memories, with some extra content and gorgeous art added to the original interviews. I just got a copy and it’s great.
