I'm pretty sure my comment was explicit enough this time to show that my judgment of Apple isn't based on this single occurrence. Regarding your earlier RTFA comment – I did, twice, and I'll stick by my original comment, vague as I left it.

@badhatharry: I understand that Apple didn't pull it, though I don't know that I'd agree with you in referring to the developer's actions as a hissy fit.
@Whitson Gordon: Much appreciated. I guess I could have made my comment a bit more explicit.
@futurist: I really did, but I can understand why you'd think otherwise from my comment. It's not the one app being pulled, for whatever reason, that concerns me. It's the policies that make things like that happen and just how closed the Apple tends to be with letting well developed software like VLC be distributed…
Apple recently fixed my MacBook for free a few months ou of warranty. And then they do things like this. It's hard for me to for a personal opinion of Apple...
Lately I've been using the Last.fm free music player from the Chrome Web Store. I like that it scrobbles and that it lets me play the full song or playlist from anything on Last.fm's website (using an external source of your choice), but I'm starting to want a better interface. I really like having my music scrobble,…
I feel like this started out as a great idea for someone, but in the end it just looks like an IKEA salad bowl. When the cheap material gets it's first scratch or dent, it's really going to look like a salad bowl.
@Hello! My name is Anonymous: Dropbox will still honor the offer if you just shoot them an email about the non-.edu situation.
@tchrman35: I sort of want to try jumping over a car now...
Eat fiber; shit well; nothing's better.
@BPhillips21: Unfortunately I don't. I don't think it comes naturally to everyone. I feel it takes logical mind that is set in reality to recognize when you are panicking and remind yourself that it's useless in most situations.
@Whitson Gordon: Thanks for the summary! I downloaded it a couple days ago, but have been waiting for a chance to test it out. I'd do it sooner, but it's such a hassle to set up my widgets again (the few I use, even...).
Learning to not panic was the best thing I ever forced myself to do. My life has become exponentially better since then. Great advice.
I've got several RSS feed methods set up for myself, but I always find that I just go back to the site to read my articles ultimately. This seems like it gives more of the actual experience of the website while still joining them all together. In the end, though, I think I still won't be an RSS person...
@NyQuilDreams: An app for fries?? OMG point the way please!
@y0urm0msname: Daeji Bulgogi. It's a delicious Korean pork dish...super easy to make. I'll make it with beef (Bulgogi) or chicken (Dak Bulgogi) with a few different spices sometimes.
I began testing this out and ended up booking myself a cheap stay in Boston (from DC, so the flight isn't too expensive either). Thanks!
@miguelcervantes: Fireworks and Dreamweaver are great tools on CS5.
Glad to hear from the developer that the issue was already addressed in the code. Though now I really want to try out Zeam after hearing about it for the past few days.
@Whitson Gordon: Things to think about when buying a new Android phone is pretty much exactly what I had in mind. I'm personally holding off because I'm worried about buying a phone only to hear of the superfantasticamazing new one that will be debuting a month later. I'll have to give in eventually though.
