@theLaika: 1 dozen average sized eggs is about 1 pint. A pint is a pound the world around when it comes to water, milk, and eggs. So, you're pretty much always buying eggs by the pound.

This list is fantastic! I always have a hard time in the produce section, but I think I'll be using this list to make my choices ahead of time form now on.
@psychiccheese: I can't much stand boxed wine either, but I always keep it around for cooking. I don't see any point in wasting a good bottle when you can barely tell the difference after it's been cooked!
@cnslr81: There is a link to manage your Prime Membership in the My Account section of Amazon. The regular 1-month trial will automatically charge you at the end of your trial period, but also allows you to turn off this automatic renewal at any time without ending the trial.
@silver-bolt: Yup. But I think that it's pretty rare that anyone cooks a pure mixture of water and alcohol outside of a lab. In a real life application, a lot more of the alcohol would remain because of the "impurities" of food being involved.
@gerrrg: I know not everyone makes coffee the way I do, but I really prefer my stove top espresso pot. And I have a gas stove rather than electric. With a hand grinder I'll never need electricity to make my coffee again!
@w0nk0thesane: Water and alcohol mixed together form an azetropic mixture. The two components cannot be fully separated. The boiling point of the alcohol component is raised, but the overall boiling point of the mixture is lowered.
@Jaypers: I've known a good number of Texans, stupid or not, who don't speak a lick of Spanish. I'm from Maryland, and I speak Spanish rather well. I think I'll take your correlation on that one with a grain of salt.

i love when lifehacker does dropbox articles...
@Tiger-Fever: I'm not at all sure if this updates fixes that bug, but a while back I found a tip that suggested excluding your external hard drive from spotlight (can be found in System Prefs). I haven't had a single problem with the 10810 error since then.
Apple deserves a lot of credit for doing something innovative, but Android deserves more for doing it right.
It only seems to work for my if I drag-and-drop an app. When I select an app from one of the lists, the delete button never presents itself...
@PatrickPortland: Your loss...using the referral link gives you extra space. I hope you at least found one elsewhere.
I set this up a little while ago, but I've almost been disappointed to not catch anyone yet!
@ihityouinthenose: Ok a little research has shown me that the area I live in (Maryland!) was made a test market for the sandwich over a year ago. [fastfood.freedomblogging.com]
How is this Chick-fil-a spicy chicken sandwich new? I've had them plenty of times! I can't remember a time that Chick-fil-a didn't have a spicy chicken sandwich...
I've been waiting for this for so long. I had actually stopped using Dropbox for a while...time to pick it back up.
@thecharles411: The chlorine would already be evaporated at the higher temperatures if that is what actually happened. But it isn't....
@thecharles411: How exactly would chlorine evaporating at low temperatures make water taste better? Every ounce of my knowledge of chemistry says that your reason is not actually a reason...
