I get depressed every time I see that ad and the music is even worse. Everything about it needs to never have been.

I’d heard that it was a State Street promotion. However, people interpret it, like all art, as they see it. Granted, there is the artist’s intent, but the artist does not have total control how it’s consumed and no control on how it is interpreted internally.

The bull is a popular tourist attraction where everyone rubs the balls of the bull. The statue has no integrity and is just another attraction in NYC. The artist is an asshole and I also hope the girl becomes a permanent fixture.

I haven’t ever ONCE been down there and not seen some bro playing with that bull’s balls. So much integrity. 

If they tried this campaign in somewhere like Thailand, they could be firebombed...

I know its original intent, but its undeniable that that intent has been completely lost on Wall Street and has, instead, been taken as a mascot for their questionable virility and power.

That’s the point of the bull. Essentially that Wall Street is an out of control bull in a china shop.
