Battery supply. Tesla has it, and apparently, no one else really does. Sure, there are a few BEV units dribbling off the production lines of other manufacturers, but apparently no one can match Tesla’s battery supply-chain right now. That fact seems like a win for vertical integration.

And yet, I’ve never had a Ducati oil cooler fail due to road debris. Aftercoolers and A/C coolers on car and trucks, yes, but never a Ducati oil cooler failure due to road debris. Go figure.
