I’m currently watching Chernobyl, and can’t help finding the use of English accens distracting. They made the choice to have the Belarussian scientist pronounce her name and the name of her institution properly, but otherwise she speaks like she’s British. It doesn’t make the series bad, but I do find it deeply weird.

It WAS twenty years ago that everyone kept a lid on the plot of The Crying Game. But it was only for movies that were heavily reliant on plot twists that people avoided spoiling. Then again, the internet as we know it wasn't around either.

If you are talking about using the information she gleaned about him online to show up at his work, I’d call that a fantastically bad idea. I think that may well come across as a threat, which this woman clearly does not want to do. Shooting him a brief, discreet email one time would be far less threatening.
