I’m not sure the color is a huge deal. The recommendations are time + temperature to kill bacteria. The FDA recommendation of 165F for chicken is because it takes like 1s to kill all the bacteria at 165F. But if you keep chicken at 145F for 10 minutes you get the same results (https://blog.thermoworks.com/chicken/chick

Late 80's Acura Integra. I wanted one of those SO BAD. Ended up with an ‘88 Celica for my first car. It was a decent stand-in.

My parents had one of those Maximas. It was a great car. I’m thinking it was maybe a 1986? 1987?

Yes, you make a really good, well reasoned, thought out point. I’ve changed my position entirely.

Funny you say that. I googled conservatism the other day because I wanted to see what the conservatives actually stand for to try to make a bulleted list of how Donald Trump is not that (have not done this yet), and the first definition that came up was essentially what you wrote.

Thanks so much for the info! Been thinking about replacing it, but it drives fine and cars are stupid investments, so why? Haven’t noticed anything weird in shifting or noises.

I like people who didn’t die.

I don’t know what most of that means. What I do know is that I have a 2007 Nissan Altima, 3.5SL, which was the first year Nissan had the CVT. Are there any signs I should look out for as far as issues or failures? It’s got about 112k miles on it, which I’ve heard is “around” where the CVT’s start to fail. It’s weird,

Do they? I’ve been researching this recently and I’ve found some complaints and what not, but nothing concrete that indicates that there is clearly a problem with their CVT. And is it just Nissan’s CVT or is it all of them, because Toyota and Subaru are using them, now, too (among others, I’m sure).

You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

These things look like Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The mortgage thing you reference is somewhat confusing. Mortgages don’t just increase because you renovate your house. This person must have taken out an additional mortgage using the equity in their home. That’s not Ty Pennington’s fault. Other things, sure. But not that.

Well clearly you are a superior driver who makes no mistakes and has never encountered a puddle or ice slick they couldn’t handle.

I find it incredibly interesting that Republicans will support this fellow, who has not served, did not graduate from college, has not had a steady job or income, and has done literally nothing to earn a spot in Congress, but AOC is anathema. Isn’t graduating cum laude from a respected university, working hard, and

I am not good at wrenching. I enjoy a robust warranty, thank you. Especially for the duration of my loan.

I have to say that I am incredibly impressed with my district’s plans. They have already teamed with an accredited online school but held off on making a decision on returning to in-person learning until last week, offering the online school as an option (free of charge) to parents who were sure they didn’t want their

I’ve been marinating on this idea for a while. I wonder if people are going to start advertising services on Craigslist and the like?

My first car was a 1988 Toyota Celica (used; this was circa 1996). About a month after I got it, I pulled out of Publix and hit the left turn signal, which happened to be on the same lever as the head lights. Unbeknownst to me the lights turned off, but they stayed popped up. I proceeded to make the left and was

How about: if you leave your house to do anything right now, don’t be a jerk. Wear the mask and don’t bitch if someone making minimum wage (or less) asks you to put one on.

This.
