Because the transportation trust fund is insolvent. Construction costs have risen faster than inflation. The gas tax hasn’t changed in over 20 years, people are driving less, and cars are more fuel efficient. So, would you prefer tolls or no extra lanes, no maintained roadways, no new bridges? Those are literally your

I understand the concept, but I’m generally not a fan. I don’t believe that roadways are or should be part of the free market. It’s super regressive. But, then, I’m also a big proponent of public transportation. If more people used transit, we’d all spend more time doing the things we love and spending less time in

FYI, if I recall correctly, the I-4 lanes will have a cap on surge pricing. Could be wrong. It’s been a while since I read about it.

The lane was already there and you couldn’t use it unless you had other people in your car. Now you can choose to pay for it. It’s a choice. We’re all about choice, right?

Also, a lot of these projects that are under construction creating managed lanes with variable tolling are being constructed through Public-Private

They are doing this on I-4 through Orlando as well as part of the I-4 Ultimate project.

I’ve only had the two Nissans with CVTs and I don’t have hate for either of them, although I prefer the 6-cylinder. That’s because the 4-cylinder is slow, though. I don’t miss the KACHUNK when it shifts at all.

Fremdschamen

Look, friend, I design these things and if someday there is a bridge called “The IHateCleverScreenNames Viaduct”, that would make it all worth it.

I don’t understand why the CX-5 wouldn’t have a turbo. That’s so dumb.

I’m pretty sure Logitech has plans to brick all the Harmony Hubs, so why would you recommend that?

There are times/places where traffic opposite the bus doesn’t have to stop. In Florida if there was a 5' or wider median, only traffic heading in the same direction as the bus has to stop. People don’t know that, either. Which was super annoying.

Sooooo... Colorado then?

So.Much.THIS!

Be RIGHT, not polite. I don’t trust your sorry ass when you stop so I can turn left. I don’t know WTF you are doing. Just... get out of my way. I promise, I will be able to make the left.

Problem with the 16th St mall is complacency, though. People aren’t paying enough attention because the shuttles are inconsistent.

That being said, having a driver slam on the brakes because some asshat wanders out in front of the shuttle is not a good time... Also, thanks for what you do. It’s a hard job and I don’t

Thank you. Very well written and much appreciated. Thoughts I’ve had myself but couldn’t verbalize, at least not nearly as well as you’ve done.

I swear my dad owned that red white and blue bike when I was about 11.

Any rule that is broken in the attempt to be polite. Be RIGHT, not polite.

It doesn’t matter how much they get fined; it won’t be enough. Perhaps we should demand that banks who steal from their customers be treated like a customer who stole from a bank. Corporations are people, too, after all.

I think their biggest problem is fitting the double stroller and the groceries, not the kids.
