That’s terrifying. So glad they caught it all in time.

I have an 07 Altima and I have similar thoughts. I want a new car, but I don’t need one. Mine works fine right now and does everything I need it to and I actually find it fun to drive. CVT and all. :-/
I had a 2002 Mustang for just over 5 years with literally zero problems (ok, the vent rattled and it drove me nuts, but that’s just me). I wish the same, and 5 more for good measure, upon you.
It irritates me that these people are upset with their realtor because the neighborhood isn’t great. You research that before you buy a house. And if you don’t, well, that’s on you.
FFS, memorize your lines. There’s literally less than 1 minute of talking and you need a teleprompter?
2nd gear: There’s a huge difference between one HOV or HOT lane on a 6-lane highway and ALL roadways requiring 3 or more persons. While having a managed lane will increase traffic flow (and especially for people willing to carpool or pay a toll), I find it hard to believe that it would do so by a factor of 2.
You…
Thanks. TBH, I don’t usually see the “take our country back” rhetoric from Dems, and when I see it from the GOP I’m so disheartened because I guess they think I’m not American enough or patriotic enough or whatever because I don’t agree with them, so to see it from “our” side, too is just... utter bullshit.
I’m a Democrat and pretty liberal, but taking our country back from WHOM? They’re Americans too.
So are they going to refund at least HALF of the ticket price? An apology for a $1000 ticket she didn’t get to use is worthless.
No discussion on pain or length of time for the piercing. Not saying I disagree (I got my cartilage pierced at Claire’s circa 1994 and it was not fun), just that most kids don’t have the fortitude to sit still for long during a painful procedure. Is this method as quick or more pain free? Just curious - my kids are…
I’ve seen so many articles lately (including on this site) regarding the massive lots of “abandoned” diesel VW vehicles. Will they be allowed to go back on the market as well? I assume those are the vehicles whose owners participated in the “buyback” program?
I’ve been enjoying the addition of -a-Lago for scandals of late. Either will work, though.
That has huge implications for interstates, too. Having trucks that can accelerate more quickly means that the accel/decel lanes don’t need to be as long, which will reduce the amount of right-of-way required for interchanges... Obviously some kinks need to be worked out, but it will be fascinating to see it all…
It’s only a 45 minute drive. And Toledo could use a win...
It’s my hometown, so I’m biased. But even so, like you say, home of Jeep, so that’s where it should be.
No. Toledo or nothing. They demolished the old Willys Overland factory a while back, but the smokestack still stands. It’s probably polluted A.F., but it would be a cool place to do a museum.
So you have a lot of knowledge regarding the money the city is willing to put into museums, eh?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toledo_Museum_of_Art
Granted it’s mostly funded by the Edward Drummond Libbey trust, I believe, the city benefits from its existence just a tad.
Also, if you haven’t been, it’s a fabulous museum…
Land is cheap in Toledo. Make it happen. Perhaps a wing of the Toledo Museum of Art? They have that ugly Frank O. Gehry add-on from the 90s, why not add a Jeep Museum?
Grout technically has “aggregate” in it also. In concrete there is small aggregate and large aggregate (rocks). Grout only has small aggregate (usually sand). Concrete is a mixture of cementitious material (almost always Portland cement, but sometimes it includes fly ash), aggregate, and water and then whatever…
I believe that once you add water to cement it chemically ceases to be cement and changes the matrix structure. Could be wrong. Flour may also be similar, what with the formation of gluten and all. What I’m saying is, you’ve given me pause.
