It’s not just that he said he’s an engineer, but that he would have admitted to practicing engineering outside his area of expertise. Licensed electrical engineers are not legally allowed to do civil engineering and vice versa.

My first thought when I read this was that since he didn’t sign and seal any documentation, he wasn’t really practicing engineering. But he stated that he is an engineer. And you can’t really do that.
