So, if one is a youngish female journalist, and one wants to write about women's stuff, without writing fluff for Cosmo and the like, there are very few outlets. Jezebel is one. And I'm just going to come right out and say it: Mark is taking up a spot.

Congrats on the job! And good luck! London rents are heartbreaking.

Bayswater. I could probably find somewhere cheaper, but I have an aversion to anywhere outside zone one. Hence why I live in a boarding house :)

I basically live in a boarding house right now (London rents are a killer.)

Jezebel is really going downhill.

I agree that men don't notice a lot of beauty shit that women do. However, eyebrows are one of those things that change an entire person's face, even one's expression, depending on how they are styled. So a dude may not notice the eyebrows specifically, but if they are groomed and nicely shaped, it may make you look

Yes, like I already said, this is because men's health falls under the discipline "Medicine". The male body is still considered the default.

Can we have a kimye free day on Jez. Please?

"Heart disease" is not the same thing as a "heart attack".

Aren't Nars red lipsticks full of lead? I remember reading an article on Jez about it.

Address the points I raised or shut the fuck up.

So just because he is a kid (17, in fact - almost an adult), we have to give him an A+ for the effort, lest we ruin his birthday party. Frankly, I find that attitude patronizing to children.

The photoset is all over sites like jezebel and buzz feed, presumably because we are supposed to admire it. Clearly, we're not supposed to criticize it. Because it's his *hobby*, which means only praise is appropriate. Three cheers for the boy with a hobby!

I have nothing against old people having fun. But I cannot bring myself to watch this, because I HATE that song with the fire of a thousand suns. It's so bland and toothless, and it even has the line "no offence to you, my friend..." SO PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. I can't bear it.

I agree with you. This is pretty meh (Yes, I realise I'm a horrible person for saying that about a kid. Im fine with that). There's nothing particularly clever about the execution, and even the photos are kinda washed out.

Probably for the same reason why we never hear about women groping men on the subway etc.
