But police aren’t medical professionals, nor do they have medical training.

If someone is under arrest, or a potential risk to themselves or others, they are required to be bound. In fact, binding patients in a hostpital if they’re a risk to themselves or others is required.

Medical guidelines do not call for handcuffing someone, especially someone who is face down, that way.

unalienable human rights

But why not just do an actual secure wipe? I do that with my external hard drives and thumb drives!

You can’t secure wipe part of a drive, either. Fragmentation pretty well prevents that with existing programs.

Although they could have secure wiped and then re-created the damn server without compromising information by

My guess is that whomever combs over the server would need some kind of security clearance, AKA not an intern.

Right, but my point is that handcuffing them is probably meant more as a protection for EMS. I’m guessing it’s about liability and SOP more than caring or thought.

I suppose it depends. Handcuffing a dead person? I would think that would be disturbing evidence in what should be an investigation into the shooting.

A wounded person? I don’t know. I mean, I want to say that it’s inhuman, but at the same time a person can be wounded and still be a hazard to EMS or police. It’s

The guy was taken to the hospital and is alive.

Does no one even pay attention to the news?

Whether or not the guy was shooting at police, I don’t know. That’s the story. As for the truth of it, who knows?

I’m not going to debate with you any more.

Mainly because you are deliberately and obtusely missing the point that what is mandatory compensation is a debatable subject, and you seem to think that something that some people find morally questionable (which is also debatable) is a right.

You know that it’s protocol to call an ambulance immediately, and that when you call them, they don’t immediately arrive? So, even though he’s asking for help, help was almost certainly on the way and just not there yet?

Which is funny, because you don’t usually think of those other countries as having their shit together.

Huckabee’s proposed alternate solution is, apparently, do nothing? Because an isolated, angry Iran is better for Israel than an Iran that is rewoven into the fabric of international relations?

The doubly sad part is that it wasn’t an ad hominem. It was slippery slope and begging the question.

Washington has gone so far downhill with logic that even when someone points out a logical fallacy, it’s the wrong one. smh.

I broke up with a girl, and a driving reason was student loan debt.

She had a private university undergrad, two or three masters degrees, and was planning on going to med school. We had a candid talk about it, and it came down to me feeling like we would be starting out so far upside down that it would be a long term

You are here.

The point is over on mars somewhere. Or maybe venus. Either way, you have no idea where it is.

This article reminds me of my favorite car business joke:

“You know how you make a small fortune in the auto industry?”

Additionally, it being a missile platform as opposed to a gun platform might change its priority as a target during engagement.

Y’all totally missed the point.

He’s saying something about how he viewed himself as a man, and what it taught him about feminism, women, and gender and you’re making it about feminism in general.

This article isn’t about his wife. Or feminism. It’s about what one man felt about himself and his definition of self, and

Someone who’s been shot in the ass?
