It certainly could be. I'm not entirely sure where I saw it.

Yeah I feel basically the same way. Apparently, it debuted in theaters as a double feature with My Neighbor Totoro. That must have been some serious mood whiplash.

Sure thing! I'm not sure how helpful it will be since it sounds like you guys are using a completely different debate format than what I'm used to, but it's always nice to know what's going on in the heads of people as fickle as judges.

That's unfortunate that your team lost, but it still sounds like you guys are doing fine overall, so good luck to you in your next rounds!

I think this means that if you find every episode "just ok" people will finally be satisfied.

I suspect it's going to get knocked out by the end of Mixology, but I'm rooting for Somewhere Out There. The way that everything comes together in that scene, and really just the general idea of it really encapsulates why I love this show.

In no particular order:

I've wanted these since early season 2. A lot of episodes from that time felt like they needed another minute or two.

I don't think I ever picked Charizard on any of my gen I playthroughs. Then again I think the only times I've picked the fire starter were gen IV and V.

Didn't Breaking Bad lose to TWD last year?

Ah that's where I remember it from!

Somewhere Out There or bust!

These would all be pretty great. As much as I love most of Community's high-concept episodes, if the show ended up being more like late season 1 it would have been more consistent while still maintaining a unique voice. I especially agree with your take on Pierce; his talk with Jeff in Beginner Pottery is probably my

Based on the AV Club's positive review and a desire to learn more about Scientology, I started reading Going Clear by Lawrence Wright. The stuff about L. Ron Hubbard is very interesting; I knew he was kind of crazy, but not even close to the degree that this book describes.

It wouldn't have been enough to fix my problems with this episode, but Nick Kroll would have made it better. I liked him in Foosball and really wanted to see him back.

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus I'm glad I'm not the only one like that. I'm a pretty quiet guy and honestly don't like being the center of attention but for some reason I love singing in the company of others. It's not like I have a nice singing voice; my range is very narrow and it doesn't take much

I vaguely remember having a crush on a girl in my 3rd grade class because she had an English accent and once talked about going to Legoland, which to 9-year-old me was basically the greatest thing ever (and honestly if a girl my age wanted to go to Legoland I would say yes in a heartbeat)

I used to switch between shuffle and just having a few songs on loop (yeah yeah I'm that guy) but I've been making more of an effort to listen to full albums at least a few times before going back to shuffle.

Will subsequent rounds also have bonus questions? I enjoyed looking at the results for those.
