The car above is probably closer to 2,500 but we won’t know for sure because there isn’t a dyno powerful enough to measure it.

regardless of whether they supported the death penalty, watching a person die horribly in front of them wasn’t really their thing
Friends, if you’re setting about a plan on how to drink and drive, here’s a foolproof plan: 1) pick someone as a designated driver; 2) make sure they don’t drink; 3) get home safely. Or: drink at home. Don’t drive! Can be just as fun, and less expensive.
Why is it almost every time I hear about an accident involving a “driverless” car*, it always seems to be the fault of the other party, the human controlled vehicle?
Things I take away from this:
It looks like he’s on the nearside of the lorry, so he’s actually away from traffic and very unlikely to get hit by anything.
Why would you do this? All you’re doing is over-revving the engine, putting extra strain on the transmission and murdering your fuel economy.
Still going strong in Horizon Zero Dawn. I mentioned before I had reservations about getting it (being a PC gamer and not fond of controllers) but I’m glad I did.
Well said.
Pound shops are awesome. So much stuff for so little money.
Splendid bit of work. He has a lovely little smug look on his face and he thoroughly deserves to :-)
I don’t care whether people are male, female, undetermined, black, white, gay, straight or anything else. As long as they know what they’re talking (or, in this case, writing) about, that’s all I ask. Even if they don’t know what they’re talking about, that’s hardly down to gender etc.
That is spot on. Whenever I talk to people about this, I always tell them not to even mention climate change, or carbon footprints or any of that stuff. Instead, show people how they can save money, how they can get an actual, tangible benefit and they’re generally happy to get on board.
Puddle jumper :-)
1908 Oldsmobile. It belonged to a Canadian dentist who shipped it to the UK for the London to Brighton many years ago. I had the job of collecting it from the customs warehouse and delivering it to his central London hotel, and then picking it up from Brighton and returning it to the warehouse at Heathrow.
He let me…
I bit the bullet and bought Horizon: Zero Dawn. I was concerned that playing on a controller would be a bit naff, but it’s actually OK. I’d still prefer a mouse/keyboard, but I’m managing so far.
