This is exactly what I thought and, I have to say I am SO relieved that there are more people who appreciated this movie. I saw it back in high school when I worked at a Blockbuster and had already seen just about everything there was to see in the store, let alone the sci-fi aisle.

Now playing

The "New Age" Chanting around the magical tree in Avatar is taken from this real world Balinese ceremony (seen here in the film Baraka)

Yeah they're basically the real life equivalent of Umbrella and Cobra combined lol.

When I was younger a friend convinced me to trade him my copy of Mega Man for Xenophobe, which was quite possibly one of the worst games ever made since E.T.

Halliburton. Not saying BP isn't at fault, but Halliburton was equally responsible. Will they ever be raked over the coals? Not with Cheney's clout backing them.

Sounds like Marc Ten Bosch has a degree in TimeCube studies.

Reminds me of the Pilko Pump Pant.

Especially in cases of ayahuasca and DMT. Nor would many people consider them "hard" by any means.

It's a toss up between Quantic Dream and VanillaWare for me. Elite games by people who really fucking care. Granted, with QD that would be very few games per decade :)

Yeah was gonna say, I've been using the Rohto drops for years. More "ZOMG it's Japanese and weird" news for the uninitiated I guess.

Speaking of the cloud, I'm sorry, but am I the only person left who actually WANTS a hardcopy of my games? Yeah, sure, with this generation we have lots of patches and updates a la PC-fandom, but still. In 10 years I'd like to be able to fire up my PS3 and play Deus Ex or whatever and not be dependent on whether it's

I would say Miyazaki Hayao would be the true equivalent to Disney.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one to think this...After seeing larger and larger games I've been super stoked to see the indie game movement take off the way it has. Part of me felt that wow, maybe Miyamoto-san is feeling the same way. Maybe he's going to come up with something wildly creative once he's no longer

The most hardcore negotiator I know is one of my close (female) friends. I had never seen a dealer actually SWEAT before (like, literally), until this girl started getting into it for her Mazda 3. Hell, if possible I'm going to bring her along as my secret weapon next time.

Had much the same experience back in 2004 when I was lost in Akiba and heard the music blaring from the 2nd (3rd?) story window.

Agreed on the credit union bit. Almost always several points lower than a bank and heaps less than the stealership, even if you're not bait and switching them on the financing.

THAT'S MY PURSE! I DON'T KNOW YOOOOUUUUU!!!

I'd like to say the Collector, but I know I'm the Importer/Exporter. Times are getting tougher for us because of folks like @bashcraft though. Seeing articles on games that ONLY I was privy to before is tough. What's worse is that hidden treasures I kept secret for years like Super Potato, places I shopped at before

It should be noted that the comic itself fills all non-action moments with ridiculous amounts of expository pretending to be conversation. The show has, if nothing else, improved on Kirkman's atrocious writing some even if the conversations still seem wholly unnatural and unbelievable.

Best Buy screwed me out of the Collector's Ed. of Dark Souls last week too. Same issue as Forza "We oversold, here's $20 bucks." Now I get to buy it on Amazon for $40 more...
