@bajema: I can't believe I overlooked that. I'm a musician (can you tell by the name?) and I can't count the number of times one of our guitarists has needed another 9volt.
What even runs on a 9 volt anymore besides my smoke and carbon monoxide detector? And rarely (read: never) am I out in the field with my smoke detector.
Back in the 4th grade, I got to make the seating chart once. I made sure 'Matt' sat as far away from me and 'Kate' as I possibly could.
About a month and a half ago, this would have made me so happy, I probably would need a new pair of pants.
On the rare occasion that you actually have more than 5 machines that you listen to your music on... beggars can't be choosers.
These days in school, movie making is something you need to know how to do. My junior year of hs, an assignment required us to shoot a movie (on a sociological issue of our choice) and use iMovie to edit and present it. That was 2001. By now, I'm surprised movies haven't taken the place of term papers.
If the RIAA has taught me anything, it's that sharing music is only illegal if large sums of people are doing it.
If you're gonna go about it that way (and she's not going to listen to the iPod right when she gets it) just setup the iPod as an external hard drive and copy the songs to it as files, not as playable songs.
I recently started using NeoOffice on my Mac, so hopefully that OpenOffice compatibility happens sooner rather than later.
I dunno about "building" good credit by leaving a balance on there. Since my first credit card, I've always paid off right away (with one exception towards the end of college...) and I have a near perfect (if not perfect) credit rating.
Does the quality improve at all? Or do you still end up with sort of grainy, streaming quality?
Another option not listed is to use a search engine that links to charity. My mom works for an animal shelter called Helping Paws. By using goodsearch [[www.goodsearch.com]] you can enter the charity you favor, and every search you do, the charity of your choice.
Similarly, the most resent issue of MacAddict had a few handfuls of free apps. I picked up a few, including Handbrake, NeoOffice, and OnyX.
And what do these have that iTunes does not?
Actually, why bother taking the photos when they've already been taken for you. From the Photojojo page, I found the photographer whose images were used for that picture. Linked her flikr site and search the tag 'lights'
That pick really makes me want to make a photo series of close up blurred lights. And so I shall...and claim the intellectual property as my own!! Bwahahaha!!!!
Heh, all you silly people and your phone issues. See, I have "One number to rule them all" because all I have is my mobile phone. That's it. I don't understand why you'd want more...
Here, I'll give you my crisp clean One Dollar Bill for your old ratty Five Dollar Bill!!! It's a DEAL!
