I agree in the sense that the SS checked boxes that competitors couldn’t. Like the Charger being auto only. Ford not having really a dog in the car type (a SHO maybeee). BMW is way more expensive. Lexus maybe with their F v8's (I used to look into the F-series but IDK where they’re at now power/price). I think if

Precisely...some must’ve forgotten

I’m down!

This wasn’t really news though, the production run wasn’t supposed to go beyond this year as they were discontinuing production in Australia for 2018. It was anticipated that the SS would see it’s final year in 2017.

I think the price point of the current SS was a turn off to most. I mean I love the Aussie GM cars, and hope to add one to my stable, but the SS was over priced and had an LS3 compared to the new LT engines they were throwing in the Camaro/Corvette etc.

I don’t own a DI or Turbo engine so I guess relying on the computer would make me an “automotive idiot...” however, I agree I think the computer in modern vehicles will be able to adjust my service interval based on my usage.

Agreed, the truck is only 5 years old, an average of ~40000 miles a year...oh and excessive oil changes (5k intervals). Age is another factor that time will only tell how well these engines hold up, especially to gunking etc.

Has to be one of your top decisions, don’t even let late night HBO tempt you with it...you’ll sit there with a scowl of what it could’ve been and what it isn’t...I should’ve known better

And that would be why Fast and Furious did better than the Point Break remake they made a few years back...

Def will be a good time, and the Pentastar is a great engine...but a Hemi would be a good-er time because of POWER

I noticed they dropped the V8 on the Charger. What a shame. I sometimes “built” a Hemi Charger with AWD for shits n giggs...

I’ve always feared my fellow driver’s more than myself in the snow...when it snows I wish for it to be a barren wasteland so I don’t have to bother with idiots or hurting others when I’m the idiot

My thoughts as well...

Loose interpretation of muscle car, especially in 6-cyl guise

IM envious of your DD and would take it over an AWD challenger any day

I don’t think mine ever folded up correctly after the first time...or I broke it

AWD is the way the market looks to be trending, plus AWD feels and seems premium...

Makes sense

I’ve never done that either coming from Syracuse, and noticed in DC and Boston that people do this. I asked my Rochester buddy why people did it and if he ever did, he shook his head and looked perplexed. Needless to say I still don’t prop my wipers, and can manage to clean my car just fine still...
