this finale was really beautiful, great conversations, talking about shit that actually is relevant and real and relatable, Looking season 2 has really managed to be like my favorite depiction of gay people I've ever seen in tv / film, granted i haven't seen a ton, but looking just came off way more authentic with its

it was just such a buzzkill. She was literally the only long con from the beginning, and since they disposed of every journalist that could have exposed Frank, this was the only thing in the background and they fucking destroyed any chance of a good payoff for it in season 4. huge disappointment

pretty much agree with everything you said

when I watched Doug go work for Dunbar, it made me think of Boss when Kitty went to go work for Walsh, and now I'm just thinking how much of a better show Boss is than House Of Cards and it sucks that it had to be on Starz

it just sucks that they decided to write her UN job / potential political career off as her sucking at it. I think it would have been much more interesting for Frank and Claire to part ways if she had more political power and then season 4 could actually be decent watching the two of them attack each other.

my life without me, one of my fav moves

i think the martha long con is gonna end with phillip being exposed as her husband to beeman in the end or the last season

i feel like its her way of showing Philip that she's not a complete sociopath

yeah I read it as him fumbling to tell her more lies while not really answering any of her specific questions, but the implied threat angle is intriguing

Patrick will always end up with Kevin over Ritchie or somebody similar to Kevin because of his elitist mentality. That's never going to change, that's part of who he is.

i don't really mind the characters being unlikeable, as long as they keep doing things that I can relate to, either having done myself or could see myself doing. I'll watch it til the bitter end but I can finally admit the quality is definitely not the same as it once was. However, there had BETTER be a good pay-off

everyone kept saying mac's blood was disgusting, i don't know what that was about

andy samberg is cute

i dunno, I really miss the experimental early stuff of girls. One Man's Trash is my favorite episode period. but it was refreshing to see Hanah in a place where she's like "I don't know what's going to happen next, i don't even know what I want to have happen next…"

movie 43 was an embarrassment for everyone involved

stephen colbert in a priest's costume. check that off my bucket list

i mean, i loved bird man, especially as an aspiring actor & edward norton obsessee. However, best picture?? over Boyhood, really?? I just don't understand the academy's decision-making-process at all
