it was just such a buzzkill. She was literally the only long con from the beginning, and since they disposed of every journalist that could have exposed Frank, this was the only thing in the background and they fucking destroyed any chance of a good payoff for it in season 4. huge disappointment

it just sucks that they decided to write her UN job / potential political career off as her sucking at it. I think it would have been much more interesting for Frank and Claire to part ways if she had more political power and then season 4 could actually be decent watching the two of them attack each other.
