Gulf Islands, British Colombia. Some islands get paid a lot, some don't. A doctor who gets called in gets paid more, but having to be there ready to work for a 12 hour shift pays 25$/hour.

Because PC manufacturers generally take less than 10% mark-up, and apple takes between 10%-60%, depending on the machine. A large amount of that money goes to customer support etc.

I've got plenty of newer computers that can run Netflix, it just bugs me that one of the fastest and most powerful of all my machines can't simply because it's old.
