It's a terrible browser game at the moment. Can't imagine there's too much that could save it, console port or not.

They actively have to port the game. ie make changes to libraries and most likely adjustments to the engine. They received help with the Android version of Avadon from the Humble Bundle Group. So without that extra help, it costs Jeff Vogel as an individual more time (time is money) or just money to have someone else…

I bet it's just as easy to use your own logic against you for your favorite genre of video game. So you tell me, what's different about any new game in any other genre? Or if you really want you can just mention your favorite genre and other commenters can pick holes in it.

I'd be willing to put money on Dead Space 2 getting added at the 7 day midway point. They always add more games to the Humble Bundles.

Considering how long the system has been used and how long it takes to make a game, I'd say you're going to have to be more patient. FTL is a small game and they outdid their goal by 200x with extra goals that were reasonable and wouldn't chew up all of their money on useless crap.

Not sure about profit but you could check how well FTL did. Considering they only raised $200k and the game has been a pretty good hit, I imagine they made money.
