I've read Strangers On A Train by Patricia Highsmith which I enjoyed a lot. It is one Hitchcock movie I've never seen before for whatever reason so the twists and turns were surprises to me.

I really loved the ending with Axl and Frankie, I hadn't realised it before but they are very alike and it was sweet seeing them have a moment.

I loved the show last season and somehow I love it even more in S2. I do think King Richard's transformation from kidnapping throne stealing King to adorable sidekick of Galavant is one of my favourite things about the show. It works so well. Also Sid helping Gareth was lovely and the whole Madalena plot really got to

Because I prefer the X-FIles over Twin Peaks and care more about seeing Scully and Mulder again. I have more emotional investment in it I guess.

Well Arrested Development S4 was disappointing though I would watch another season. Twin Peaks I'm really unsure about. X-Files I am excited for. My comment was more in reference to recent TV revivals like Fuller House or Heroes.

At last a TV revival I actually want!

I have a few DVD boxsets I want to watch: Treme and OZ are the main ones. TV wise though everything seems pretty easy after watching 200 episode of X-Files in 6 months last year.

Thanks for the update even if it makes me sad, Fox's treatment of Bob's Burgers is appalling. I mean I'm grateful they keep renewing it but then they never show more than a few eps in a row before yet another break. Get it together Fox.

I am so happy Sue found a college friend and I hope she sticks around. And yes you do remember your first real friend from college/university, mine has been my best friend for 15 years now.

That was classic, I've always enjoyed his Conan appearances he just seems so chilled out.

That makes a lot of sense.

Loved the cold open so much. Also the joke about Olyphant not being on Kimmel really made me laugh because Olyphant always seems to be on Conan and never any of the 'bigger' talk shows. Maybe only Conan can handle his deadpan sense of humor.

WGN is a TV station think its proper name is WGN America, I'm not in the US so don't know how accessible it is - considering the small ratings for Manhattan I guess not very.

That is brilliant. If the show is half as funny as that then we are in for a treat

I had the same reaction to Garret in Deadwood as well, I was very confused. Also didn't help that after years of seeing him as the terminator in The Sarah Connor Chronicles I finally started being able to see him as a funny guy in Raising Hope. Then I go and watch Deadwood and he is back to be evil again! I do love

The return of Timothy Olyphant on The Grinder is something to sing from the rooftops about.

The shows I'm really interested in:

I never thought of that, yeah alternative takes makes sense.

I loved it a whole lot, Rob Lowe was a delight and so was everyone else. I have no idea how its going to air on NBC with the swearing.

Yeah i'm getting tearful reading this article. The Middle is a special little show and I'm really delighted that not only is the show still at the top of its game seven seasons in but its still doing well in the ratings - steady and comfortable like the show itself (but not in a bad way).
