Great premise absolutely ruined by lack of single-player and (undoubted) focus on PVP.

LOL, at around 0:55 mark you can see one player’s name pop up as ‘urmom’. I mean I guess it’s an accurate representation of some of the player base in many open-world survival games, but maybe not the best footage to include in a promotional trailer? ;)

Even if there were some fantasy land where days caps didn’t exist, there are plenty of us who would like to maintain our own, walled, wireless network.

Maybe I’m completely misunderstanding 5g, but isn’t the answer to “why you’ll still need wifi” just data caps? Amazingly fast speeds for 5g is great but not if I’m still capped at like 4gb a month or something. Sure, normal internet can have data caps too but it’s not that low

I give them credit for completely ignoring how nuclear bombs work and making the world more like Annihilation and less like the World On Fire it actually would be.
