Me neither. I didn’t get the notification from Amazon Canada. Instead, I hit the refresh button 30 minutes before the Treehouse event on Friday and managed to preorder. My preorder was exclusive to Prime Members, so I subscribed and pre-ordered.

I’m in Canada and I managed to preorder mine, Friday at 9 o’clock (EST) in the morning. I had to become an Amazon Prime member because it was exclusive to them. I lost my place in the line while subscribing, but I got one back two minutes after that. :)

That is why I wrote that I bought a Wii even though I could have bought Zelda for my GameCube. I think many “Nintendo fans” will jump on the Nintendo Switch bandwagon.

I meant to say that if the console can’t outsell the flop that the Wii U is (I just compared global sales [for home consoles] since N64 and the Wii U was the worst.) developers won’t produce good games for the Nintendo Switch.

Launching a new Zelda game with the console is definitely major. This is an exclusive killer app and I think we dont see that very often these days at launch. I bought a Wii because of Twilight Princess even if I had a GameCube. Now, I don’t even have a WiiU and the Canadian price gap between both consoles encourage…

The stats about the Switch aren’t good. No devs want to develop an exclusive game or a good game for a near-dead console.

I’m happy to read that the Joy-Con Grip is enough for Zelda. The Switch controller Pro is SO expensive.

Hopefully it won’t be 60 bucks. The Switch is $400 CAD, and Zelda is $80 CAD.

Yeah, if you already have a Wii U, I think you should stick to it. I made the mistake to buy a Wii and I only kept Zelda games. I’ll definitely buy the Switch however. :P
