Perfection.
He’s a tool.
+1 tox joke. But I think we’re in a dose-escalation study.
I loved FB, but the last two years, and the recent algorithm changes (where the stuff you star or like is basically the only stuff you ever see) have made it unusable for the purposes I liked it - keeping in touch with a broad ranging group of people. It’s distressing, but seriously, I’m a middle-aged lady with kids…
+1 Wilfred Brimley reference.
Can pots de creme be done in a sous vide do you think?
Your mouth, god’s ears.
a 25K retainer seems pretty low for an entire extensive legal defense. I wonder if there is a lawyer involved at all, or if he’s just grifting and doesn’t have any idea what the real costs will be. Oh, and also, thoughts and prayers, you dick.
This post is like the 1500th time I’ve tried to follow you only to realize I followed you 1499 posts ago. I’m always so delighted when you chime in.
Agreed.
In my house we talk about HALT. Are you Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired? It’s the first check for my kid to try to figure out what is causing him distress.
I have an adolescent kid with ADD and we go through a version of this Q and A at least twice a day. It infuiates me that he can’t seem to remember to eat, take meds, brush teeth... but that’s part of the disorder. Kids like this also can have difficulty identifying what is going on in their internal landscape.
Holy cow, this is a good roommate! You have a roommate who notices something clean, cares that something is clean, and attempts to duplicate the cleaning without being asked. Does this roommate have a sparkly horn coming out of his/her head?
Videi games are a hell of a drug.
Thank you! Sure, it’s irrelevant, but what the hell, Dr. Ronny. It’s like having a supreme court justice calling herself Trixie.
Yeah, I’m giving him a pass on the drinking. The horrendous lack of relevant experience though...
Seriously. These goddamned people.
Operating an LLC at a small loss or at barely break-even isn’t illegal. The taxes are paid on the pass-through (often the owner of an LLC is an employee of the LLC, and gets paid that way). So taxes are paid, but at a lower rate. Totally legal.
Late to the party: I kept my name through both marriages, the first one that ended and the second one that is going strong. Changing it never felt right to me. It’s been a total non-issue, both socially and professionally.
