We might have gone to the same camp.
We might have gone to the same camp.
Maybe just in my (seriously annoying, but I knew what I was getting into) socioeconomic environment. “Camp” as a concept is great among my peers, as long as the kid is in his/her teens, and the camp is focused on computers or sailing or lacrosse.
“it’s our job to make sure our kid doesn’t grow up to be an asshole.”
If she can promise me that I will never have to go to another baby shower, I’m all in, man.
Agree. My kids (middle school) have jobs (shoveling, sitting, walking dogs), go to sleep away camps (GASP), and are held accountable for their behaviour because at some point I want them to be palatable enough to other people to be able to move the hell out of my house. Starred for the Elisabeth Bathory reference.
This is really interesting! Please do keep chiming in on this kind of thing for those of us who don’t have any experience behind the legal scenes.
That’s going to leave a mark.
Wine. Whille I ruin my botox with worried grimaces and ponder how i can best contribute to the overthrow of our current government. I am a suburban white middle aged mother with a small business. If the GOP has lost people like me, all I can say is “better take cover, douchebags. When you lose everybody’s mom, you…
That’s it exactly. My kids’ prescriptions were 175 a month, which is not expensive compared to what you were paying, but it was crushing to me at the time. I was ticked off at how I was paying 18 K a year and still not even getting RX coverage — rightfully ticked off. But the solution wasn’t to give up on the ACA…
