This is incredibly worrying. The fun of Final Fantasys have always stemmed from a weird ragtag bunch that you would gather to throw weird assortments of skills and magic with. The comradery was always center stage. If they remove the party aspect... this is just a Final Fantasy-themed Devil May Cry.

That’s a really level headed response to what Nintendo did with, honestly, no faults. Nintendo’s completely in the right here but honestly wish they would release all their music in more obtainable formats than leaving the game on.

I’ve been playing since launch and I had no idea crypto nor NFTs were involved. It’s a fun little gacha game that’s never required nor had me thinking to spend even a cent on the game or even think about these disaster topics.

Ending Hunter x Hunter now feels like he’s aiming for the Dark Continent to be its own spin-off, possibly helmed by someone else he trusts. Interested in seeing what happens!

Great god that’s a poster of Ugly Sonic as Commander Shephard. I’m getting this tattooed on my back.

I gotta be missing something. The hype from Silent Hill fans for future projects are always so real and palpable, but you ask them about the last 5 games released in the series and they always tell you how terrible they were.

Gamefly is the current best way to play PS5 games, tbh. Wait 6 months, pay $22 to get two games out at a time, and you can catch up on every PS5 game that’s come out. Cheaper than gambling $75 on a single purchase only for it to be a buggy nightmare hellscape (thanks Returnal).

Correction: Ooblets is available on Xbox, Switch, and PC (Epic Only). Thank you Epic for creating the hellscape experience of console exclusivity on the PC I can’t stand that company.

Platinum is so oddly revered despite easily at least half their catalogue being duds.

I watched a few hours of a streamer playing this and I had to be convinced it was actually Overwatch 2.

Give it a month life will go on and Twitter will be fine. You can’t completely poison a swamp you just move the sludge around a bit.

It’s almost as if people just wanted options when playing their video game who knew?

We can’t be surprised. KH3 was one of the best selling games of its year. That’s like being shocked that Anthem 2 is in development when it sold gangbusters despite the mostly negative reception.

Kotaku what in god’s name is happening? Posting hyper drama articles about streamers and then including takes from KEEMSTAR?? Keep it up you’ll be the Esquire of game articles.

Wanna know the worst part? There’s a “themes” area in the system menu but it just has “basic white” and “basic black” as if they planned for it but never bothered to add any more.

“Why are people not completing these NPC quest lines?”, publishers fret as NPCs teleport to random, obscure spots on the map dependent on unexplained world state changes or dialogue remaining.

I’m not excited about how many businesses will attempt to monetize the final product on shirts and $90 metallic posters. (oooo look at me I’m Displate you can finally hang up the Skyrim default character on your wall for $88 more than it should cost)

That’s definitely an interesting hook. My nostalgia may warrant the highest tier, depending on what they add, but I wish they’d just let me... you know... buy the games instead.

SE really throwing their titles under the bus recently pushing all these “live service” features onto them. I’m still bitter Chocobo GP was ruined by this.

If gamers went through the women’s clothing aisle they’d have a panic attack.
