Heck even dumb Hello Kitty-themed amiibo cards were nearly impossible to snag. All you had to do was keep trying for a few minutes with no refreshes and the actions eventually took.…

The best thing about that reservation system is that you can’t do it tomorrow unless you made a purchase through Steam before June this year, essentially giving scalpers with alt accounts absolutely no heads up and no time to prep their hoarding.

Like the below user said: there are two usb slots on the side of the dock that people can VERY EASILY miss including myself. If that fails do what I do: just use any old USB-C charger + adapter to charge your pro controller or whatever.

Huh doesn’t seem to be much of a point if you never use handheld mode. Seems like they really geared most of these upgrades for those on the go. Phew one less thing to battle scalpers for (good luck everyone else).
