Oh this looks absolutely fantastic! I look forward to being frustrated that I can’t play it on PS5 this September.

Indeed. I’m not that squeamish but the arm scene... not a fan.
Man that is just huge. I’ve been bouncing with them off and on since like... what 2012? Feels like it’s time, though. Ever since streaming took off with YouTube and Twitch: the argument for GiantBomb has always felt tougher given content creators elsewhere churn out 6-10 hours of content almost daily.
Let’s be real if you truly wanted to be charitable you would have been donating full amounts to these charities already. The less than dollar difference between what you were doing and the new 15% standard is negligible and you’re just looking to be outraged by something.
I... ugh. Fine whatever.
This game is really surprising me. I’m hoping it lives up to the image it gives off. Then again my ability to play this entirely relies on my paltry, human reflexes beating scalping programs.
It’s a neat game with some fun ideas, but if you played it on a PS4 base/pro when it launched: it was a disaster. The tail end 60% of the game chugged to single frames often and was more a goal to push through than enjoy the destruction.
When can we start buying PS5s? My local scalpers are thrilled about the updates, but I wish I could say the same.
Way of the House Husband was a shoe in for my favorite this year, based off the manga, but... idk man that animation choice is edging so close to bad CGI for me. It’s just irritating.
Oh you’ll be absolutely spoiled by 98% of shounen anime, then, as the plot armor is thicker than Texas toast.
I don’t get it. Where’s the timer until it goes offline forever? How am I supposed to feel a sense of urgency and impending sadness with my online titles?
You know Mihoyo doesn’t care unless it impacts their bottom line. All those tweets and articles about issues won’t even cause them to blink unless people stop pulling from banners.
I’ve been watching Twitch for 6~ years and my viewing experience has never been impacted by these kinds of streamers. They only show up if you start looking for them aka the people who won’t stop complaining about them.
Thank you for the article, Mike. Should this have also included this title’s ban on the other platforms as well? Of course this is possibly hearsay, but I heard Steam is but the third platform that SS3 has been banned from release on.
I’m in a similar boat. Did everything imaginable just so I could put the game down and walk away without regrets. The absolute monstrous list of bugs and disappoints made me walk away overall bummed about the product. Probably won’t go back after it’s fixed here in a few years.
It’s absolutely fascinating. Thank you for the insight. I always wonder if Sony worries about the girth of scalpers scooping up most of the PS5s that go on sale with their bots. Doesn’t Sony lose money on each console sale? Now instead of the revenue coming from accessory and software sale: consoles are just sitting…
Honestly, after the poor quality of Pokemon Sword/Shield: I’ve just been so disconnected from Pokemon that I think the time has finally come to just move on from the franchise. It’s the exact feeling I get when someone mentions Star Wars it’s just really hard to get excited by it anymore.
That’s great news! I love monster capture games and the first one was... fine. Excited to see improvements to the gameplay and the game come to the Switch.
“Protesting Dropout Idol Fruit Tart” didn’t expect this at 8AM.
Wow I thought people were kidding when they said they can’t wait for “big honkers nun” to join the game. Well at least she seems neat!
