Nintendo does this with games, it’s not a stretch to assume they are doing the same with amiibos. OoT 3D and Star Fox 64 3D aren’t available new anymore. The Fire Emblem games are impossible to find, even just a year after their release (Awakening being the only exception).

Wasn’t there some bad blood between Nintendo and EA since there were [rumors of] plans to integrate Origin into the WiiU that fell through?

I was once on a train when a Jamaican woman started shouting (to seemingly no one) that she was the Satanic prophet, that thousands would die in her wake, and the Illuminati were afraid of her. Some group of teenage girls (who I think were tourists) were getting weirded out. One made eye contact and the woman politely

No Guile’s Theme?!

I feel this way about Fable 3.

I’ve never read many of the comics (too much to keep track of and some of stories are hard to get a hold of), but I interpreted the “I’m always angry” differently. Bruce meant that he’s always angry as himself but this anger doesn’t manifest itself as rage but sadness/depression, likely from feeling the need to

I had a chance to go to Islands of Adventure before it officially opened (like some preview). I was young and just waiting in line for that ride scared me.

Why does Sony love making the USB ports more obscure and difficult to plug into with each PS iteration?

I’m still using Office 2007 at work :(

Valve fixing something is always important news.

Mask of the Phantasm is still the best Batman movie.

If you turn your sink and the water comes out brown, you can call someone to have the issue resolved. If a mod no longer works or negatively impacts your game, neither Bethesda nor Valve will do anything despite taking 75% of the sale. You have to beg to the mod author for help. They may have abandoned the mod due to

The only good thing that can come of this is Valve expediting the development of Half-Life 3 so people can forget about this debacle.

It's about 6-7 years old, I think. Probably would have lasted longer but I've traveled with it a lot.

Perfect timing. I had an older 500GB Passport HDD that's started making clicking sounds. Time to transfer things while it still works.

Pichu never left, it just evolved. The Pikachu from 64 and Melee retired.

My first 2 shinies were Mawile. One I caught and the other I hatched.

I don’t hate it. I just haven’t been into any games I’ve purchased for it. Although I have been less into video games in recent years. I’m also tired of some of Nintendo’s BS like limited print Amiibos for no reason, still tying purchases to hardware instead of an account, etc.

Nintendo has the power to make more. Considering the WiiU has a poor game selection and Club Nintendo is extinct in a couple months, the least they can do is keep the promised games in stock. Nintendo just likes creating demand by creating an artificial limit to the supply.

Usually because Steam or the publisher/developer gives them a finite number of codes. This is more akin to Steam having a sale and running out of Half-Life 2 or Portal 2.
