That there is! Some other famous epistolary novels are Dangerous Liaisons, Dracula, and Carrie.

You must come to London! I'm sure you'd be a catch and a half in Soho.
You work on a Sunday?!?!
Arundel! You are very sweet to say so; thank you for the kind words. Certainly didn't see them in any derogatory sense. I'm glad these little personal ramblings make for amusing reading. That makes me smile. :)
I'm glad you find them so amusing and I have no plans to stop any time soon. Thanks for the kind words!
Done and done!
I am actually far behind on it and I'm planning on catching up either this week or next. I've only seen the first two episodes, and I still love the series, for all the obvious reasons (the phenomenal acting, great cinematography and performances, etc). It's become my choice for the best procedural of the millennium…
It's one of my favorite TV series! Top five, easy. I should rewatch it soon.
No judgement here!
When you get to see The Hateful Eight, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Come on over to London! I couldn't believe my good fortune. They were so friendly (and hot). I hope they visit again soon!
That they are. I read somewhere that 18 months is usually around the point when people start to adopt the accent of their location, but even that obviously a guarantee. There was another article that said people who pick up accents easily tend to better at foreign languages too, and I can assure you, that is not me…
That's the spirit!
That sounds heartbreaking and I should check it out! Thank you.
I heard Match Point was supposed to be pretty good.
You are saying bye on a high note and I hope it feels good. He was a fantastically talented man and will be dearly missed.
Ah, the epistolary format: a personal favorite of mine.
Maus is a great, sweeping epic and a book I need to revisit. But, it's so harrowing, it can be physically hard to read.
It's amazing just how horrible it gets. In many ways, by having a certain 'cuddly' (for lack of a better word) remove in showing the characters as animals, just highlights the horror all the more vividly. It's an extraordinary bit of work.
'Realistic English' gave me the morning laugh I needed so thank you for that!
