I never watched a single episode of this show. Will I be able to follow the plot if I see the movie?

A few years ago I was talking to a friend about the expression ‘sexy mofo.’ I said that only one person in the entire universe can legit be called a sexy mofo, and that person is Prince. And this is why. Holy shit, no matter how you identify in terms of sexuality, no one can deny that.
