DON'T use scissors! I can only imagine the horrible outcome what with the sharpened edge and all. Before I found Shu Uemura, I use to use a spoon (blunt edges!) in the same way you use scissors to curl ribbon. Don't pull the lashes too much though or you'll end up plucking them out. :)
