Fun fact, Nobody's Watching was created by Bill Lawrence after one of his other projects, Clone High (which he co-created with Phil Lord and Chris Miller of the Lego Movie) got cancelled and he had time between Scrubs seasons. His co-creators of this project? None other than Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan (of

Wait, Shea Wigham was in Take Shelter? Haha, man no wonder the chemistry between him and Shannon felt so lived in for the last season of Boardwalk Empire.

It surprises me to see you and others reference season 3 as a great season for Chalky when, IIRC, he was only featured in the second to last episode of the season.

Oh, I probably wasn't clear. Season 4 finally placed him in the forefront of a lot of storylines. I'm only lamenting that they hadn't done that sooner.

I think you mean season 4, the one where he owns the club.

I probably should have explained myself better. Chalky was an incredible character and was almost always the most interesting person in the room. The fact that he only receives significant screen time in season 4 and his pointless fate made whatever gains he made as a character even more frustrating.

I'm glad you guys are covering this show. MIchael K. Williams and James Purefoy haven't had the best roles as of late, with Williams' Chalky White being largely squandered on Boardwalk Empire and the less said of The Following, the better.

Aw I was hoping I'd be the first to mention that.

I've never heard of it before today, but i just read the Wikipedia article for the movie and they mention it as a footnote.

I get so frustrated when people shit on the 9th season. Admittedly, the episodes that featured the original cast the most were the worst. But the new cast had incredible chemistry and the writers started to finally figure them out when it was cancelled.

Um, do tell.

Their first album, which featured the perfect blend of Urie's vocals and pop sensibilities and Ryan Ross's sharp lyrics and wit, still holds up today. The only reason why I have a hard time listening to it still is all the cringe-worthy memories of my life as a scene kid.

That's Matthew Perry. Luke Perry was on 90210.

No Bob Dylan?! No David Bazan?

I immediately thought of Pedro the Lion/David Bazan but didn't think there'd be anyone who'd notice to comment.

Long time reader of this site and a wandering Christian, I'll admit that this headline made me wince.

We already have the best Titus Andronicus adaptation: "Scott Tenorman must die" from South Park.

I didn't receive a Terriers notification for this?!

Came here to comment on this. Oh my lord the Hork Bajir Chronicles is so incredibly beautiful and sad.

Yup. Lots of characters died and ended on a suicide mission with the last surviving members. Before that they're persecuted for committing a genocide against the Yeerks, despite being teenagers who led a freaking insurgency. Those last half dozen or so was a significant uptick in quality, and they burned through
