I think the metaphor game is stronger than you’re giving it credit for here. The older women “coming out” at the end really nails it.

I’m thinking she’s the Enchantress. One of the only major Thor characters who hasn’t been in the films. And her powers so far aren’t Loki-ish. They actually seem similar to the powers of Sydney Barrett in Legion.

I think Lady Loki is really Ms. Mobius.

I wonder if “The Sacred Timeline” is a dig at people who take canon too seriously.

I thought that too, but they were trying break Loki and showing him someone he murdered was still alive would take guilt away, not add to it. It’s still canon because Phil supplied a rescue ship in Age of Ultron.

There have always been National Enquirer style gossip mags but they didn’t pretend to be anything but that. AVClub feels like they’re commenting on something they’re deeply a part of without bringing that up. Or maybe they’re so vain they don’t see the song is about them.

Nothing wrong with confronting your old material but when you have places like the AVClub whose business model now seems to go through a celebrity’s past like a lawyer looking for anything that they did that you can hashtag and make a career destroying scandal out of, don’t you think less people will want to risk

and a predictable controversy quickly surfaced...” You were the ones who dragged to to the surface. You start a fire then report on the fire leaving that detail out.

Won’t someone think of the snobs?!!

Millionaire makes fun on minimum wage workers then wastes food. You want the Purge? Because this is how Purges happen.

It feels like this is taking valuable space away from trying to destroy Gal Gadot. Or praising her for standing up for herself. Or trying to destroy her again.

Is there a requirement to try and destroy a person every day? I know it gets clicks but is it worth it? Is this doing anyone any good? Maybe give a boost to an artist trying something new and good instead?

You don’t get to the Avengers without the style set up in Buffy/Angel. It was fully embracing the corny elements and melodrama while being funnier and sharper than almost any out and out comedies. Avengers shouldn’t have worked, it was blending too many different styles together but it did and because it did then they

No chairs. All ottomans.

No one’s more afraid of losing money than a rich person. No one’s more scared of having their “rights” taken away than the one with the most.

Wishing the author of this enough success that the AVClub decides to go after them every day too.

Since she was cancelled for years once before for not doing anything wrong can we just let this go and call it even?

AVClub is going to turn on that guy so hard at the first chance.

Good week for cousin jokes.

Han Solo.
