See, this is where MLB The Show is crafty about their card-collecting mode, practically giving away 95+ OVR cards to everyone who dips a toe in there. Can’t “pay to win” if they just give everyone the cards to win!

She was out of there so fast I questioned if she was the nanny leaving for the night after putting one or two invisible kids to bed in the next room. He’s just arrived home and hasn’t even filled up a whole glass of water and she gives him a double back pat before woob woob woobing out of there like she has a commute…
Did the Pokemon binder on Antiques Roadshow not make you feel old enough? We are like dust in the wind. My classic rock station plays songs from my childhood
Obviously suicide is horrible, but I can’t help but find it a little funny that the first thing he does in game is seemingly jump to his death. Then it cuts to him smiling.
So this guy definitely got a DUI after one too many late night benders/”strategy sessions” at his law firm, right?
Maybe this was communicated earlier by them, but I was taken completely off guard. For whatever reason many moons ago I stopped using the Shonen Jump app and read all my manga through the Viz app. Imagine my surprise when I check today to read Chainsaw Man and I could only see all the new offerings. It retained my…
Can we pull back on the word “tragedy”? I thought he got shot for cards.
Recently I finally broke down and jumped into Discord to see what all the fuss is about. I don’t get it. It’s basically just a chat room and one that’s kind hard to follow along with too. I guess I’ve just been on the internet long enough now that there’s nothing new under the HTML sun.
“Discord, even with its recent ‘forum thread’ feature, is just nowhere near as good for this.”
“Not much is known about the plot of Meg 2...”
And yet, in a way, everything is known.
how dare you! I’ve devoted my life to being a ]]]]]\’man!
It’s actually a pretty common comparison - and a good one! (I’ve used it myself plenty of times) - but so often people just don’t want to listen. They don’t like the system and nothing you say or do is gonna change them.
And yes, OK, there had to be a little bit of editing required to get rid of the wires, but that doesn’t count.
I completely forgot about this showcase but now I need Rift of the Necrodancer! I loved Crypt of the Necrodancer and Cadence of Hyrule so Rift is right up my alley.
So the trailer is terrible, but so is this writeup. Provided that it works like Zombies, Run! (and it almost certainly will), it isn’t just random catchphrases “motivating” you, but it’s a story that plays out over your run, and multiple runs, as you go through a kind of campaign. It’s still cheesy (and the voices…
I thought it was fine. Weapons were more like ammunition and incredibly easy to come by. Feeling free to just whip your sword at an enemy and pull out another one felt pretty damn great imo.
I think there's enough proof out there that it's significantly better than Callisto Protocol lol.
Seriously. Unless it’s a FROMSoft game, I’ve gone full-blown patient gamer. You usually only have to wait a few months for a game to be at $50 or lower.
Here’s my thoughts on trailer and preview fakery: I’m okay with trailer bullshit like that if has two purposes:
Wow. That’s honestly a surprisingly scathing review. Out of all of the big gaming journalism titans I would have never expected to read something like this on Kotaku.
