In the past I think we would have criticised blocking off content behind different editions.

Completely agree. Capcom and SquareEnix have been amazing in remaking Resident Evil and Final Fantasy 7... Expanded while feeling true to the original, modernised and polished to perfection in most cases. That takes an amazing amount of talent and a core understanding of the originals, which I don’t think Blooper Team…
Unless this is already common knowledge... The big reveal in this article for me was EA/big evil publishers were not the cause of Titanfall 3 being cancelled.
That is a great idea!
Trying to think through an argument against the acquisition and I am struggling.
The difference is that is a visually striking and unique scene with lots of emotional weight behind it.
I was wondering the same thing, but less dystopian. Previously people said (incl me) about how pointless tablets were, but they took off as a middle ground between laptops and smartphones.
I had this issue for the opening with Gwen, but after that it was completely fine.
Yes. Just Kotaku repeating content to get more clicks.
It’s a terrible practice. For me, the Fifa series has been one of the key foundational moments of the loot box / live service model that is about keeping people playing no matter what.
A bit weird how absent the wife was. I thought there would at least be a quick moment where they bonded over the game.
I had the same thought, but at the end. Last contented smile as he looks out the window. He decides to get off the bus and walks to the cliff and then jumps in the same pose as Link. Smiling. Then cut to black.
There are a lot of big hitters for the teenage/young adult crowd early on...
I agree. I think the other issue is going to be the pricing structure. They have stopped you from buying the app and now you have to pay a monthly subscription.
That is the perfect description that I don’t think anyone has said before. Rather than thinking about them as weapons in BotW, just think of it as ammo as you will be finding plenty more. Same rules apply. Save your best ammo/weapon for when you fight something hard, but don't stress out about it.
A lot of people are saying 45 mins is too long, but it depends on what they were going to do with it. I can imagine it being that long if the aim was to develop Thanos' character further and show what he was like before.
There is a clear reason for the critic / audience divide. If you know nothing about the source or have little nostalgia for it - then Super Mario Bros on its own merits has a lackluster storyline and character growth. It is passable as a children’s film.
I heard it too! Either way it's still funny and Jack Black was easily the best thing in the film.
No worries! Thanks for taking the time to respond!
I can’t be bothered to find the article, but I find it interesting that I didn’t even know there was an easy Xbox emulation scene until a couple of weeks ago when Kotaku.com mentioned it in an article.
