I’ll agree with the boring part, but part of the problem is that if you weren’t bought in at the beginning then you would struggle to watch the rest.

I think this loses some nuance:
My take is that I am a bit worried about the next Phase going forward as it does feel like there has been a drop in quality of the films around the coherence of a narrative and heart/empathetic characters.
I think you undermined the point of the article. One of the reasons people like Rick and Morty is because it is pretty unique. Everything you pointed to was 10+ years old except the ones on Netflix, which I don’t think are like Rick and Morty at all.
I should be interested in the Master Detective Archives, but having a look at the trailer and writer - it feels closer to Daganrampa than the other recent games of the genre that have done it so much better. It was good at the time, but I think AI Somnium Files was superior to it and has set the standard. I think a…
I agree, but can at least say I am looking forward to Zelda, Pikmin 4 and Advanced Wars.
I was wondering the exact same thing. I understand a ‘casual gamer’ or someone put off by the colourful art style (‘Nintendo makes games for kids’ remark from back in the GameCube days) - but anyone who actually likes playing good games (I hope that would be reviewers) can recognise the quality of the Pikmin series…
Embarrassing confession... I got really into AMVs when I was 16-17 to the point the I burned my favourite ones on a CD/DVD to show to my media teacher to get his views on them. Suffice to say he was a tad dismissive... While I know I had some great AMVs of the time on there... there could have been ones that would…
I remember this... It has not aged well at all - but it still has an impact on me.
Thanks for the heads up! Looking forward to seeing it!
“we did not send a single contract to an exhibitor until the start of this month”
It’s a shame. I played Yakuza when it first came out but didn’t go back to it as I didn’t feel like committing to playing Yakuza to 6.
That is a good idea! I'll keep an eye out in the future and do the same.
I feel silly now... What is the deluxe upgrade? I have once or twice made the stupid mistake when I first got GamePass of buying DLC / episodes (Life is Strange 2) for a GamePass game and then realising it was useless after it left GamePass as I no longer had the base game.
That is a good reason! I do wonder how developers with games on GamePass get compensated...
I would agree with you. However, GamePass and Series S being at an accessible price point (compared to Series X and PS5) is definitely a good reason to jump on board.
I noticed that as well! It definitely feels like a refinement of the art style that I hadn't seen before.
I had the exact same thought. I randomly put on the trailer and was close to turning it off as soon as I heard the opening line.
Hi-fi Rush looks great and I’ve already downloaded it...
Ahhhhh victim of autocorrect. Thanks for correcting.
